High hcg levels at 12 week scan

At 7w3d I received results that my HCG levels were 225 000 which my Doctor explained was high. She suspected multiples or incorrect dates. Had an ultrasound at 8w which showed I was only 8 weeks along with definitely only one baby. Nothing unremarkable found in the scan.
